Hello Ernst,
thank you for your reply.
I'm just a hobby-photographer searching for an alternative to a wet darkroom and the classic fibrebased silverprint way.
So I am fascinated by Pual's approach regarding longevity of the carbon-prints on a watercolor paper.
Do you think that one can adopt Paul's open-source ink-mixing and printing with European products? Are OCP products equal to e.g. MIS eboni (no dye additives, pure carbon)?
Could you sketch a way with european products?
Sorry for any inconvenience, but I don't have the technical know-how regarding inks, so I relied on Paul's know-how until know. And it worked for me from the start without any fuzz.
But maybe we should work together on an european way.
The dificulty for us hobbyists is to get the surfectants. Normally there is no way to order the stuff if you don't own a business. So Paul's 6d base is a great thing, but at least for me impossible to create.
Well, any proposals can help.
Thank you to all so far!
Gerd
