I will probably go the same way.  Thinking alike here.  Is the 1270 faster than the 1200.  I think the 1200 seems very slow compared to the 1160.   Would like to communicate with you offline about another issue too.  Steadmanuhlich@....  Send me your email if you will.

  of it. If the cone inks were working with the 1270 or 80 I'd be there. I 
  understand there are issues, and I need a commercial printer. I do a lot of 
  volume. I may just dedicate an 1160 to MIS variables with a cone driver for 
  my sepia, and use a 1280 with cone color for color. Thanks again
