you wont have any problem, the MIS inks (VM, and FS) will load ontop of the
dye inks without problems.

.. just run a cleaning cycle -- printout one of their purge patterns, and
you should be ready to go -- the 1280 holds very little ink in the nozzle

.. some times i have a runa  few cleaning cyles --
