Re: Unwarranted Personal attacks WAS - RE: [Digital BW] Martin/Antonis: Drop The Foveon Thread...Pleeeezzz it is Ridiculous!

Hi Austin-

I am writing to you off-list as the list has way too much of this stuff as
it is.

I for one value your experience, and your posts, when you address issues
relating to the list. However, I have to tell you now, that apparently you
don't get what's going on here. In my opinion, Martin was or should have
been referring to you as well as others in his recent warnings. It takes
two to tango, and I must say, you have taken the dance bait hook, line and
sinker (to mix more than a few metaphors ;^).

The most distressing thing, to me, is your defense based on "I've been
attacked, and there's no way I'm going to take it" (I know, I'm
paraphrasing). It just doesn't cut it, Austin, for the rest of us, who have
to wade through all the wasted cyber-ink. You are letting your own needs
trump the needs of everyone else on the list. If you have to respond, do
so, as I am, off-list, where it doesn't affect the rest of the list.

Finally, I wish I could make you see how it looks, from here, to have you
"chastising" other list members for bad conduct. It's embarrassing, really.

I know you're angry, but I hope you take this in the spirit in which it's
offered.

V,

What is wrong with you? I chastise Steadman for belittling me, and now you
additionally belittle me saying I am ranting and raving like a mad man?
That's absurd, to say the least.

You've been asked by the list owner to stop, now do so and stop acting like
little children and cut the crap. If you can't discuss issues as an adult,
or just simply don't understand the topic, then do not resort to childish
insults, just don't respond.
