Since I know Kennedy is the source of your post, and I know him somewhat well, I know everything he says is correct...but I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to relate it to here. The use of monochromatic lines for testing is typically of little to no use for image data, which is neither monochromatic, or lines. Regards, Austin
