Peter,

Please see my post on the Epson 9000 list. Yes, he fixed the banding. It
involves the new firmware, micro adjustments of the stepper motor and
initializing 8-pass printing. It is a problem that Epson is aware of
although they will not admit it. I posted a fully detaill accounting of the
problem and solution.
