Todd, BTW, the source of the noise, though it may be interesting to know, isn't really relevant to what the dynamic range is. It is THE print that we are trying to determine the dynamic range of, and it is what it is...no matter what caused it to be what it is. So, if the source is the paper, lense, negative, developer...what ever...won't matter. Regards, Austin
