RE: [Digital BW] Ideas for shipping framed prints?

2002-03-29 by Bill Agee

I have shipped framed pieces using a wooden crate and UPS all over
the US. I am lucky to have a framer that makes inexpensive plywood
crates and we just bubble pack it in. Never had any problems, but I
use acrylic instead of glass on pieces that have glazing. For larger
pieces than 30 x 40...there are several trucking firms that take big
items for museum shows...etc. Burlington Northern comes to mind as
one.
