these have pretty good reviews and the top one has actual scanned images so
you can compare, that's how I made my decision of the Nikon 4000.  Hope that
helps.

My scanner is dying, and I was wondering which you guys like best, the
Polaroid Plus, or the new 4000 DPI Canon scanner. Both are about the
same price. I need maximum dynamic range, to get all the detail in the
deep shadows.
