David, I did exactly what you have planned. You do not need to flush the piezo inks. I bought bulk FS inks, several virgin cartridges and the vacuum refill bits and pieces from the MIS. I had a little trouble with the bottom filling technique but have had none with the vacuum fill technique. The prints look great and the piezo system and paper profiles work fine with the new inks.
