This is the lightest gray ink, in the magenta position.  It is about 38% --
about the same as the Piezo magenta position ink, but darker than the MIS
25% or Piezo yellow position ink.

Yes.  This is the dark gray ink, in the cyan position.  It's about the same
as the Piezo cyan (low 80's; MIS standard quad 75% is much darker than 75%
and a different ink).


>            Medium blue (toner = yellow = 50%).

Yes, this is the toner, in the yellow position.  It actually has about the
same g/s reflective luminance as the light gray, magenta-position ink.

So, the order of your inks sounds right.  However, the magenta position
should be close to the toner.  It may look just a little lighter, but not
much.

I have heard of partial blocks that could affect the print tones and yet
give a reasonable-looking nozzle check.  What can happen, apparently, is
that a little screen in the head (the last chance to catch junk before it
gets to the nozzles) can become partially clogged.  Although the lighter
tones might be affected most, it could affect the image anywhere.
