Digital BW, The Print

I am trying to connect a Mac G4 to a PC. I have both the Windows 2000 PC 
and the Mac both hooked up to the network via Cat 5/6 cable with a hub. 
I can ping each machine from the other. I have enabled AppleTalk on the 
PC.

I don't know much about the Mac OS-X and can not get one to see the 
other.

We are trying to set up this connection to use the PC as a 
scanner/printer machine and the Mac to run Photoshop 7.

Anyone know what I need to do to make them see each other so I can share 
files.
