Mike,

I tried out both DAVE and PCMcLan when I first got the 7000. I settled on DAVE,
which I now use daily. I prefer it because it seems more solid, doesn't crash, has
a simple to use interface, and runs from the Mac. I only use the Windows box as
a print server, so am not inclined to buy software that only runs on it alone.
Dave worked right out of the box, and was a little cheaper. Bear in mind that
whichever app you go with will determine which machine you do the pushing and
pulling of files from.

I've been using DAVE for many months on OS 9 and now am running the OSX
version. There is currently an issue I'm trying to figure out where tiff's aren't
recognized as such once they are sent to the PC. This never happened with OS 9
and I'm trying to figure out if it's a DAVE problem or something with PhotoShop
7.0's method of saving out the tiff's, or perhaps a network issue...
