This is easy -

.zip files are a compressed file format, they need to be uncompressed
before you can get at the goodies inside them. Run that file through a
decompression program like Stuffit Expander or Winzip, and then you
can access the .acv files stored inside it.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
