Re: [Digital BW] Canon S9000

2002-04-23 by shelbyrv6a

I am new to all this, but very interested in the possibility of the
inksets. I am also using a Mac ( iMac & iBook)

I haven't purchased Photoshop yet, but I need to do that also, I
presume.

Very interested in doing some B&W.

Thanks again.

be any availability of B&W inks for that printer. Where did you get
the info that 3rd party ink mfgs were going to support the Canon?

very easy -- no problems. Head alignment procedure took about
2 minutes. The inital set up or when I first turned it on was
noisier than I thought it should be ---- The actual printing of
images is quiet. Output a PDF I always use to evaluate printers /
inks / papers -- set to glossy paper --a 8.5 x 11 print took just
under 2 minutes. I also output a 13 x 18 print and it took about 3
min 45 sec. There is an updated driver (version 1.52) at the
Canon website that also includes a profile for matte paper. I too
can't wait for MIS inksets to be out for this unit.
