http://www.businesswire.com/cgi-bin/f_headline.cgi?day0/221150021&ticker= Of course, the per OZ price on those inks is gonna be ridiculous me bets... LOL If people recall, the per gallon price of the OEM inks for the 1270 was originally estimated at about $1200 per gallon per color. or about $10 per ounce per color.. Competing, non-OEM and more archival, inks were about $3-$4 per ounce.. I apologize if I am a sceptic, but, I wonder what problems people will find this time? There still is no such thing as a free lunch.. Where's Bob Meyer to test prints when we need him? and what the heck are " ultra small four-picoliter droplets, which produces an equivalent dot size to a two-picoliter dye-based droplet." -- sounds like simply lower dot gain... the drop volume cannot be "smaller" last time I checked every liquid (save some non-newtonian fludis) had a single volume... Small four picolitre drops is like saying "NEW LARGER MILK GALLONS"... it's simply illogical -- the "drops" are a fixed size, the "dots" may vary --- I hate marketers sometimes.. Keith Krebs
