Richard,
that seems to be unbelievable, as you have the option to  change 
the tone from very warm to very cool. I´ve never seen that green 
cast with MIS VM on my 7500.
Nevertheless I switched to MIS FS  and IP 4 meanwhile and find 
the tonal range not only smooth (no posterization) but also rather 
neutral in tone.
If I compare them to my older piezo prints from an 1160 the latter 
do have a  very  s l i g h t  green cast, while the MIS FS prints 
seem to be *dead neutral*.
I know....color perception is very relative...kinda chameleon-thing, 
no?
