Re: [Digital BW] Bright Cube & Piezo ink

Good anecdotes Julian.

The dustfree environment is always a problem. I have seen my own "spraying" attempts stymied by the inclusion of fibres and dust on the print surface...all while trying to improve the print. For someone who is slightly "picky" like me...it was just too much trouble and too much of a risk of decline of quality (due to dust etc..).

Regarding the archival and glossy issues again....

It would probably be best if we all printed on plastic film (archival....."acid free" plastics only of course...hah) and with some type of ink that would adhere to the plastic.

Hey Julian, I just remembered....it is only about 3 weeks to the "Big Event." Best wishes and good luck.

Steadman, I've tried this! If you put the print behind glass without
spraying you miss out on the huge dmax increase.
Well worth persevering with. My main problem (a part from buying crapstuff
this time, is finding a dust free space to let the prints dry.
I was in a gallery yesterday, theowner was saying 'no' to inkjet but a
customer bought two glossy prints - full price - anyway. Despite knowing I'd
made the sales, the owner still said 'come back with silver portfolio'.

the image would be "permanent" or would the surface somehow change (dusting
