I don't know about the other systems, but the MIS continuous flow system is just a standard ink cart with a few tubes stuck in the top. The specialised fittings needed consists of a little plastic right-angle connector for each ink, and some 6-way ribbon tubing. The MIS kit may also consist of a syringe with a vacuum valve for pressure testing the fitting of the connectors in the cart, some glue and a tap to cut a screw thread into the cart opening (I admit I just used an old machine screw I had lying around for that). You'll also need a glue gun to seal up one set of ports on the cart itself. The details of how to install the CFS is on inksupply.com, and like I say, theres nothing very specialised about it except for the little right-angle connectors. The 1290 uses chipped carts though, so you'll need some way of resetting the chip. MIS sells a program that does this, but it only works for printers connected via the parallel port as far as I can remember. sandy @ www.euphy.co.uk
