Hallo Didital eye! So so going for it the cheap way - OK! I have built three of them - "a piece of a cake" - IF you are normal handy and have the most importent tools for a household! Mail me if problems - (there are no but some hints!) I have one for MIS Dye , one for PIEZO B/W vs Pauls VM-curves, and one 1290 for MIS Archival inks. Works pefect and have spareparts left in case. I suggest You order their "threadmaker" toolkit! Allways start with new cartriges - fill them with the initially fill them with the "Vacuum-method". Wait an hour do some prints! If not perfect they will be next day! If doing color as well then by colorvision ColorRGB AND Doctor Pro for managing profiles! And you have got an prof. outfit! My suggestion is to dedicate one printer for each ink/pig. - it's less fiddling! Use rubbergoves - and don't do in in Your VIP-room!
