Hello List. I have been experimenting with Piezo print at my epson 1160 and at the moment I am waiting for a set of MIS FS-N inks to arrive. My question goes on laminating. Do some of you have experimented with laminating piezo-prints ? We know that prints made with pigmented inks on acid free 100% cotton papers should last 'almost a lifetime', but what happens if these prints are laminated? I have a Sallmetall vacuum press and have experimented with laminating piezo's with Printguard Satin. The result is beautiful and the ink tone doesn't change, even if the print is heated during the laminating process. But I suppose a laminated print is not acid-free anymore?? So the laminate adds UV-protection and a nice glossy or matte surface, but what about the durability? Bjorn
