RE: [Digital BW] inks for the 7000 & Cone RIP

Yes!

Check www.piezography.com for details. But essentially, the RIP is 8 or
_16bit_ - is stand-alone (PC ONLY - a source of some contention for
Mac-shops), opens loads of file formats (no great deal, but). Prints on the
7000 plus most previously supported printers... as opposed to plugin which
does not print on 7000 that I know of. 7000 prints LUVERLY! Key benefit for
editioning prints is that it allows for some degree of automatic positioning
on the page / roll and image rescaling on-the-fly... and image repetition
across and down the page / roll. Plus pretty cool paper-handling... and I
haven't got inky fingers from it yet :)

Jon's Piezo BW print-exchange prints were printed on the 7000 with one test
print, one button click, out pop x prints. Then cut. Easy peasy!

I'd love some additional functions to help on the sample print size - like
easily print two DIFFERENT prints side by side - but I'm not sure but I
think some other RIPS don't do this either, but I'm not really familiar.

By the way, the PC I'm writing this on has the Pro24 app sitting there for
the last three days or more. Each time I've been printing, I don't have the
print removed from the system, I just set it's print count required to 0.
next time I want to print it, I'll change that number and click print. I
couldn't do that with Photoshop due to memory requirements and the hundreds
of other apps I run. Just a personal thought.
