i would also like to add that it has been claimed that this is the only 
rip in the industry that is more than 8 bits.

Almost all large format service-burea-type printers of the past use 
dedicated "hardware" rips so their decision to use a pc rip is not 
unheard of. It will communicate with macs just fine and allows you to 
leave them free for the photoshop work. I am a mac person myself and 
personally would have programmed it for a mac but then the pc people 
would be yelling even louder.

Also, in comparison, many rips out there cost many thousands of dollars 
and I am sure Jon Cone would put his rip up there with the best of 
them.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
