Digital BW, The Print

Hi,
I am using a 17" Apple Studio Display LCD. Setting the dot gain at 30%
doesn't quite get the on-screen image dark enough. I've been using the
custom dot gain curve and have gotten pretty close but there is still more
contrast on the screen compared to the printed image. Any suggestions for
decreasing the appearance of contrast using the custom dot gain feature? Any
online tutorials or howtos?
