I'd argue that yahoo doesn't own the posts either .. their privacy statement
and policy have not been challenged in court and therefore.. their legality
is unknown ..

.. if the posts were not taken directly from yahoo servers .. then the data
might be used in any way .. such as if i had saved every post i received
through email  and then made an archive of them -- without having had used
the yahoo archive to retrieve the data ..
