I get pretty good prints using Tyler's curves on my mac. I did have some posterization problems for a while using Paul's curves. I also had a problem with a bad batch of ink - are you using carts or bulk inks? And are you using OSX or OS9? It seems to be a little harder to use Paul's curves with the OSX driver, as there is no "automatic" mode.
