Rick- You can get sample packs of paper pretty cheaply. Cone has a lot of relabled Hahnemuhle papers (if you join NAPP for $99 a year, you get a 10% discount). If you are looking for economy, there is nothing cheaper/better in price range than Epson Enhanced Matte (formerly EAM)...but it does have an Epson logo on the back, which may not sit well on your professional jobs. In that case, try the Cone Matte or Legion Photo Matte. We talked earlier about making glossy prints...the only way you will be making glossy with the MIS inks is to spray them after printing...again something you may not want to do in the volume you print.
