RE: [Digital BW] OEM Ink Pricing & Tactics Invetigated by EU Anti-Trust Commissioner - Bulemic 7600/9600

Jerry,

I know I'm cynical and suspicious. :-) But, I don't think the fact that
7 individual ink carts might remove the feasibility of CIS development
has escaped Epson. CIS's for my 1160 and 1200's cost $125. Add 2
reverse-engineered chipped carts for the 1270/1280/2000P and the price
jumps to $225. Imagine the cost of providing *7* chipped carts on a CIS.
Do you think that might have had something to do with Epson's
willingness to "listen to their customers" on the request for individual
carts?

Lloyd

Lloyd, lets hope that someone will make a CIS for it right away!

Jerry

Buying 7 carts at once will probably be more
