Yes, its true that this is not a specialized B&W solution, but the Gen4 inks 
are one of the only color sets that I find well enough behaved to build 
custom profiles for that will print neutral black and white prints in 
addition to color. If you need a long life solution for both color and B&W in 
an existing printer, then this would be the inks I would recommend... though 
spectro based custom profiling is essential to making it work. Or wait for 
the 2200 to be released, as spend your bucks on that.
