Digital BW, The Print

Greetings:  I have a portrait job coming up, usually I shoot 120 
delta 100 with the hasselblad. Scan with the sprintscan120,  4000dpi. 
Output with an epson 7000, Lysonic ink, epson enhanced matte paper. 
I'm thinking of shooting colour neg. instead,  kodak 160 portra nc. 
Then using Russell Browns conversion method to B&W.  Anyone done any 
tests or comparisons  between the B&W or colour neg. like this?
  I'm not trying to start a "B&W vs. Colour war", just curious as to 
sharpness differences, ease of use, etc.
