Larry, I do a lot of business head shots where the client needs B&W, but I mostly use Portra 160 NC, or even Provia 100F (they'll usually purchase more for personal use if they have the option for color). I use channel mixer mostly, but sometimes the Russell Brown method for conversion. Both work fine. Most of my clients are thrilled that they can order both B&W and color. So, in other words, it works great for portraits, but I'm not sure what the fine art photographers prefer.
