Rescan the image it could be some kind of corruption to the image file. It

Subject: [Digital BW] Help! Mysterious Printing Problem

I stayed up most of the night trying to figure this one out with no
  luck.

I have two images, both landscapes, scanned from 120 film on my Nikon
8000 at the same settings resolution, etc. Brought both into PS6 and
cleaned them up, adjusted curves, sharpened, croped, and resized to
17" wide x 8" tall. I then printed the first one on my 1280 on 13x19
paper with no problem. (using PC with XP, Piezo drivers) The file
size of both images is similar and slightly smaller than my usual
  file sizes.

However, with the second image, the paper feeds and the print head
lays down what I will call a "ghost" strip of ink, feeds the paper
about an inch, lays down a second "ghost" strip of ink, and then
ejects the paper. I tried several times with no luck. Shut down,
restarted, power cycled the printer, same thing again. I did not
make any changes to the Piezo settings between prints.

Next, I cropped the image and printed a portion of it on 8.5x11 paper
with no problem. Undid the crop and tried again - no luck.

Next I went and made sure I had the latest version of Piezo.

  Any suggestions?

  Dave
