Re: [Digital BW] Re: Imageprint 4 question

Imageprint doesn't work with the old Cone inks. The cone profiles that were
in imageprint were just betas and are not good. The only ink set it supports
today is the MIS FS ink set. In the next two weeks it will support the FS-N
inkset and the Piezotones. The dither is more sensitive and thus each
inkset must have its own profiles. In my opinion the dither is much finer
than the piezo dither when you use the correct profiles for the ink that you
are using.

The mac interface is quite stable now...I'm having no stability issues.
When the piezotones are profiled I hope to do a head to head comparison
against the piezopro windows interface on a friends 7000 with the same
images. I wish the piezopro was available for the mac so that people had
options...but I guess that's life...regardless it looks like Imageprint will
be a great option...but it is still evolving.
