Cleavis, I use a large syringe to squirt ink carefully into the ink bottles, leaving the caps in place so far as is possible. Definitely don't let the end of the tubing come out of the ink reservoir or you will lose the vacuum. After my first time I don't let the ink get too low before refilling. After one or two refills you might want to consider replacing the carts to rejuvenate your CIS.
