Digital BW, The Print

Has anyone had success with quadtones on Japanese papers? 
I just got samples of  Japan/Tokoniko and Harukaze paper. 
Japan is good with minimizing dot gain, but the faux fiber pattern 
may be a bit too prominent for my taste. The Harukaze texture is 
more pleasing but shows more dot gain than uncoated 
Somerset. It is coated as far as I know, and does show good 
blacks. These papers are certainly for specific applications and 
I'm not looking for incredible Dmax and razor sharpness. Just 
looking to complete the vision I have for a series of images. I'm 
curious to hear recommendations from anyone who's tested 
other papers.
