Your monitor profile is used only for display purposes, not image space purposes. So be sure that it is being used by Photoshop (under ColorSettings click on RGB, and see that MonitorRGB-"xxxx" has you correct monitor profile listed in the "xxxx" section, then be sure you have reset the RGbB space to AdobeRGB).
