Re: Sundance/Cone/Mis Inks, clogging issues

Bernd,

Did you perform a "init fill" from the service mode of the 7000?
Most clogs on the 7000 are associated with air getting into the
lines. Although the dampers are supposed to take care of this
they do not always do so.

To get to the service mode turn off the printer. While holding the
bottom three buttons turn on the printer. the printer will read
Check:. Next press the item button until you see
Check:Cleaning. Press enter and then cycle through the options,
KK0, KK1, KK2, Init Fill. Press enter on the Init Fill option and
your printer will begin to fill the heads and dampers with ink
without purging the old ink.

This procedure will clear 99% of the clogs people experience.
The other 1% requires Epson technical service.
