Mahesi,

I had the same experience you did. I was never able to totally get rid of
the banding on the 1200 with the Piezo driver. I switched to a 1280 and
everything has been fine with both the Epson and the Piezo driver.

I think that the Piezo driver in general is more susceptible to banding than
the Epson driver which use a microweave pattern. Perhaps with the newer
printers, which I believe have more nozzles than some of the older models,
this is not such an issue.
