Jerry, this isn't quite on your topic of Epson dye inks, but I can tell you that I am stoked by the results of using Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 and the MIS Archival pigment inks with the substitution of extended yellow in their standard color inkset. Blacks are wonderful, colors match the screen...This combination I use for my fine art printing. Your right, it is expensive, however I expect that it is easily in excess of 100 years under glass on the wall with no direct sunlight. The EHM is fine for the everyday snapshots to friends printing...and much more cost effective...and I might add should last as long as conventional color prints. I got the curves for the ink/paper combo by using my EyeOne Spectro. Bill -- b i l l a g e e s t u d i o c a p i s t r a n o b e a c h c a l i f o r n i a billagee@... http://www.redsilver.com
