I sincerely doubt that a bubble in the line would cause problems, the 
syphoning will work regardless. Ink in the cart. will act as a 
damper, the problem is more likely in the head. Clean the bottoms of 
the heads, print the purge image, be patient.. if worse comes to 
worse, try pushing a cleaning agent through the head as a last 
resort.
