Thanks for the detailed reply.  I have printed it out and will give it a try. 
 I'd like to rescue this machine.  My problem is that I will only use this 
machine occasionally due to several factors and so I am hesitant about 
putting a CIS back into it.  I might be better off using the cartridgeswith 
the new piezo inks. Maybe the new piezo inks will not be as prone to 
clogging.  Has anyone used the piezo tone inks long enough to give their 
thoughts on this.
