I'm glad it helped, Doug! Yes, I'm printing B&W photos using black-ink-only at 2880 dpi. I have good eyesight, and I can see the tiny dots when I look closely, but many people at my camera club can't. I find that mounted on a wall, nobody really looks closely enough that the dots are obvious (well, there aren't any noseprints on the glass!). Eventually, I'd like to have two A3 printers set up with continuous inking systems - one for B&W and one for colour. But I fear that day is a long way off! In the meantime, I'm happily producing acceptable prints and improving my photographic skills.
