Hopefully the new inks are better, but that's not my expertise right now. The other comment about the CIS that's worth jotting down is that I had a clogged CIS AND printhead. I was able to clear the printhead using the Epson inks in a couple of days. But, when I re-installed the OLD CIS, the printhead went bad again too. So you can't win. That's why I suggested replacing the CIS, but it sounds like you may just not put another in. I remember that Piezo carts are a pretty expensive proposition though. Good luck in any event.. Jim H.
