Hi Jerry, Lets continue the fun! I seem to remember that the Greeks, Romans, Persians, etc were measuring things accurately long before the US of A was invented. And the measurement system you adopted seems to have been borrowed from us in any case! It's basically our old English system, isn't it? Being a far-sighted, cosmopolitan race, we're moving on and adopting the far-more logical (most people can cope with dividing and multiplying by ten), internationally-agreed system, that will enable Epson printers made in Japan to be used in Japan and most of the world without modification. That's progress!! Perhaps that is why the 2200 is not available in the States yet, but was apparently released here at the beginning of June.
