The ink soaks in and gets flat and dull, lacks detail etc. This paper has been discussed quite well... as recently as a week or so ago. A curve which lightens the shadow helps. I used to print on it, but switched to other papers. My prints looked good, just not what I was looking for. I used the nevins transfer functions to print with. But that was 2 years ago. If you want to use this paper, or figure out the curves to make it work, I have 3 boxes to sell or trade if you are interested :) Try the enhanced version of this paper. You will find it gives crisper blacks, a cooler tone print and more detail. Dave Tevis
