I'm sure you are right. I'm still using two 1270's and most people can't
tell the difference between my A3 (11.7 x 16.5 inches or 297 x 420 mm !!!)
prints and those done on a 1280/90. If I had the spare cash, I'd upgrade to
a 1290 or 2200 or even a 7600, but there seems little point in throwing away
perfectly good printers just for the sake of 'keeping up with the Jones's"
(or whatever your equivalent saying is in the States).
