Re: [Digital BW] Ilford XP-2 Users-I need help please

2002-07-22 by Jerry Olson

This seems to be determined by the lab and its' chemical choice. The old
film often had green tones in it, the new doesn't. It is a lighter tint
than the old. I have found no grain in it at all, and it scans
beautifully. Now they have come out with a SUPER Xp2, which I haven't
used. I have my D60 now, so will probably not be shooting film any more.

I have used the Ilford chemicals for this film a long time ago, and it
resulted in grainier negs than the Kodak C41. But some labs use Fuji,
or Agfa Chemistry, and that may make a difference too.
