Digital BW, The Print

Hi list,
My 1160/mis quad/varitone/Roark curve/cfs system on archival matte is
producing beautiful prints right off the bat. The only problem is this
dreaded horizontal micro banding. My nozzle check is perfect and high
speed is off. My question is how much does the alignment has to do with
horizontal microbanding? I thought it was only for vertical microbanding
which I dont have. What other factors come into play here?
