Robert, I'm speechless. You mean MIS has yet ANOTHER inkset? I never heard of Perpetual inks. I know that the enhanced black from media street Generations inks is the blackest black I have ever seen. It is about 1-2 percent lighter than Epson black, which is great. I haven't tried the Small Gamut inks from lyson in about 3 years, but I do know it had a terrific black. (also had terrific Metamerism, but I understand that has now been fixed). I did get some of the nicest tones I've ever had from that inkset. I'm about to get another CIS and black hex inkset for my 1280, and now there's so many choices I don't know which to get. Whoever would have thought that there ever would be too many inks to choose from? If you were doing it from scratch, which black and white inks would you get and why? Jerry
