My guess is that with color it prints out CMY dots and if everything is aligned, the dots are all exactly on top of each other giving a smooth neutral gray. In color it looks like it would be much easier to see which pattern is correctly aligned. I agree although I really like the Torchon too. I find that the big warm shift with Piezo ink that happens over the first couple of weeks on the Torchon to be hard to deal with. I guess I should give it a try with the MIS inks and see what I get. I would think that one of the warmer curves would be the way to go. More stuff to try! Martin
